Across the street in my neighborhood, there was an orange white cat. I called it Mischievous Orange . Orange passed by my house every morning. It had to go across the field to “do his business”. I would always like to frighten him and watched it run for its dear life. Hahaha.. What a big bully I am.
Raining season was here. Sometimes the land was wet and muddy. Most cats do not like to be wet. But, I wonder Orange was once a normal cat which hates water.
One early morning, as usual rain heavy since last night. I saw Orange in front of its home, soaking wet with muddy head and fur. It looked so sad with its look. That day, I couldn’t stop laughing and taking photo, and forgot to frighten it.
Me: Look at its new muddy look.Hahahaha..
But sadly, Orange had gone to a better place. Not because of any accident. Orange got cat flu. Although medication had been given, Orange still remained sick. It refused to eat and drink. It suffered running cat nose and difficulty breathing. One warm morning, Orange ’s owner brought it out to the bright sunshine and buried it under a huge tree. She said Orange passed away last night, in its sleep maybe.
Hmm.. R.I.P Orange. You will always be in my memories. Hope you find many mice under the tree.
Sometimes, I did miss its shadow appear at the field behind my house. So, I can open my back door and give it a “BOoOo!”
