Arigurumi Bunny Rabbit - Mochi (Part 2)

Hi, welcome back to visit Mochi again. So this is the Part 2 where some nice photos had been taken last week and now it is out here to show everyone. Part 1 is simply about where I found Mochi's pattern and a link to her blog and her pattern.

I picked a day for snapping good picture of Mochi where there were enough sunshine got get good picture. I love bringing out my arigurumi doll for outdoor pictures. Their colour contrast with the nature so well.

Let's have some pictures do the story.

I was bringing Mochi to school that day. Mochi was kinda excited..Haha..Let's snap a picture first before heading off. 

Mochi picked a seat just in front of the front mirror of my car, so he can get all the view he want. *Sorry the front mirror of my car was kinda dirty that day* 

This is Mochi sitting on my office desk. Mochi is kinda small, he is smaller than my candy can. But, Mochi can sit by himself. See, because he got a bunny bob tail and that support him to sit properly.

Oh, what a cute little bob tail.

Then, I decided to let Mochi outdoor to get mixed with the sun, flowers and plant. See how the yellow flowers contrast with Mochi so well. I like this picture very much.

Mochi on the branches among the bushes. I like how Mochi looked so relax sitting there. I wish I can shrink into his size and sit there together with Mochi.

This one is nice too. I put this picture at the top as header for this topic. Mochi is totally stand out in this picture.

After school, we had some walk at my back yard. Suprisingly, we found a melon growing without our notice. Hope it turn out big and nice for my soup later..Yeah!

Arigurumi Bunny Rabbit - Mochi (Part 1)

So,what is my mini project? By the small little foot I posted in my Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, I guess it is hard to actually guess what is it. Here is the sneak-peek that I posted that day.

Lousy tipper I am, me myself cannot guess what is it. Haha..Anyway, it is done by now and I am posting it out then.

By the way, hello all peepers who drop by and have a look at my Mochi.  

Mochi The Bunny Rabbit is actually designed and pattern written by Amy in Little Muggles. I was blog-walking that day and found this cute little rabbit. Although my craft is not so cute compare to the original product, but I believe every crochet arigurumi has its own identity. So, carry on, I will make it into a key-chain and chain it to my travelling bag. Mochi will go everywhere I go.

This is the PDF that I download from Little Muggles, it is so neat and colourful. It makes me can't wait to second to pick up my crochet needle and start crochet straight away.

I started with it head and attached the ears. Is funny that my bunny head is kinda sharp and look like a bun head here. I thought adding up the ears will make it look better. Its seem like bunny bun head look. Hahaha...

Then I continued with it body. It is not tricky to have half body white and half pink. Just change yarn colour in the middle of crochet. But, yes, at first will be a bit hard to change yarn if you are not use to it. Well, practice make perfect, right?

Then finish up its arms and legs and also don't forget it tiny tail too. Sewing the small tiny arms, legs and tail to the body is not easy. There were few times that I almost poke myself. Better be careful when sewing it. About the eyes, I don't really know where to find the round safety eyes for small toys. Never seen it else where here, so i just sew 2 black dots as bunny eyes. Then give him a smily mouth. 

Mochi in the pattern picture has a bow ribbon around its neck. Staring at my Mochi, I think I should find him a nice ribbon too. A pink ribbon maybe, haha. Mochi looks naked without a ribbon cover its neck. Haha..

Here is the back of naked Mochi. 

Tomorrow, after getting him a ribbon, Mochi will having another photo shoot session for my blog. I can't wait for Mochi to get its ribbon and having fun taking pictures of him.

I'm Ready For Performance - Sepuluh Budak Hitam

Hello everyone.

It is raining tonight, it is kinda cold out there and my bed keeps calling me to roll on it. Before that, I better finish my post. In my previous post, I talked about my preparation for school performance.  This Friday, my school will held a ceremony for "Caring Teacher" - Majlis Guru Penyayang. I was given the task of preparing a performance for that event. As a class teacher for Year 6 as well, I need to prepare them for coming Motivation Camp Performance also. After a few days of collecting ideas and example. Now, I am ready to go on stage.

With 10 boys and 10 girls, I took the idea of Ten Little Indian and Sepuluh Budak Hitam. I made a choral speaking team. Experiences of making a choral speaking team? Yes. I trained a 25 pupils team, back in year 2007 when I was in SK Aminudin Baki for practical training.

If you google for Sepuluh Budak Hitam's lyric, you will find it a bit violence for children. Therefore, I recompose the lyric and make it suitable and adapt to the ceremony. I feel I wanna share it because I'm kinda proud of it.

Here the new choral for my Year 6 students:

1 jatuh ke lubang, dah tinggal lah 1.

1 budak nakal, main di pejabat guru,
dimarah oleh cikgu, SEMUA BALIK KELAS.

10 budak nakal, duduk di dalam kelas,
tunggu cikgu masuk, dalam hati gelisah.

10 budak nakal, mula menangis-nangis,
mana tau cikgu, tangan bawa rotan.

Cikgu masuk kelas, dibawanya nasihat,
belajar sungguh-sungguh, jangan hampakan ibubapa.

10 budak nakal, mula insaf diri,
terima kasih banyak, semua guru penyayang.

There!Of course there are action after each sentence. But, I just don't know how to type it in there. So, any teachers who accidentally found this blog, you are welcome to make this choral as one of your choral speaking script collection.

School Performance

Hello everyone, today I just been put on a great responsibility on preparing a performance for upcoming event.  I will have to come up with some modern dances and traditional dances. The performers will be my Year 6 students. Oh gosh, I never really taught dancing before!

Hush! Don't be a cry baby and try to plan the dance steps will solve the problems. No doubt, I will ask for help from anybody who willing to lend me a hand

Recalling my memories, I was a performer back in the school days. Our teacher was very fierce; she will make sure everyone of the dancing team memorizes the dance steps well. With the cane in her hand, we had no choice and had to minimize our mistakes. But, she had produced a good dance team with very little mistakes.

Back to future..err..I mean now. What am I going to do with my 5 boys and 5 girls team? And I only left 10 days to produce any performance. Is there enough time for training a dancing team? Or, I should train some academic performance such as choir or choral speaking? Make it simple and make it short, but make it with attractive props and background.

Night fall and I had to take some time to look for some source from the Internet. Wish me luck, and I really need that. A million thanks and muaks for all who wishes me. I wish you all have a very good day ahead with a lots of luck around you.  (^.^)V

Apple Banana Bee-zy Day..

Hai everyone, this post not really related to apple nor banana.. Those fruits came in mind when I was thinking for the title.

This week is a very busy week because it is the exam week!!! Everybody is busy chewing the books and the teachers are busy preparing the questions papers. I had done my study and exam part few years ago and now I am focusing on the asssessment. I got a total of eight papers to be ready and send them into the exam hall.

Year 6 English Paper 1 and Paper 2, Year 6 Kajian Tempatan, Year 6 Pendidikan Seni Visual, Year 5 Mathematic Paper  1 and Paper 2, Year 4 Pendidikan Moral and finally Year 2 KSSR assessment on Mathematic. So, teachers out there who accidently found my blog and feel want to swap exam paper, I'm glad to exchange it for future test and examination.

After exam, there come the most headache part, marking the paper. With a lot of funny answers and sentences, sometime it give me a laugh, sometime it make me so sad with the serious spelling error and grammar mistakes.

Here I show you some of my onion with tear gas.

Hmmm..it is really a hectic week. My head is heavy actually. But, I don't want to miss out my blogging on today very special date,29/2/2012. This twenty-nine of February only come in once in four years, it's precious. Haha.. Thereby, I want to wish anyone who has his/her birthday today, happy 7th birthday celebration. You better do it big and happening. If you miss it, there will be another four years to wait for the actual date.

New year new start 2012

Hi everyone who drop by my blog. Today is the 8th day of 2012, I finally squeeze some time for my blog. It been a busy week for starting a new year. End of last year, I had my new house in my school cleaned. Things that need to move into the new house already packed and put inside the house. I left the house for my anual holiday back to my hometown in Penang. I came back to Miri only at 28th of December last year. I celebrated new year here with my deary, but we left early because I was not feeling so well that time. What a start for new year huh?:-( But, I pray for everything to go well this year.

Then, there was the busy week making my house a place call home. New chair, new gas stove, new bedsheet, new pillows, new broom..bla bla bla..new many things until I almost broke..hee hee just kidding. Yet, moving in new house need a lot of commitment.

Sunday, finally sit down and blog about this. Nothing to brag about it. Hmm, the house is big and I own the house myself. I make one of the room laundry room and hang all my laundry clothes inside. When everybody is running home collecting their clothes while raining, I can just relax and continue what I am doing. *grin*

Tomorrow will be the first assembly hold in my school this year, shall I wear something nicer for celebrating the first assembly? Celebrate?Nah, who will be celebrating? Just me and me myself..hahaha..*going insane*

Argh! I still got so many work to do, so many preparation need to ready for my students who going to take their UPSR this year. And, I am the class teacher of Year 6 this year. I already start to feel the pressure that going to put on me..Oh NOOO!!! I hope I am ready for all this.:-(

2012, this year suppose to be the best year of my life. Get up and cheer for myself!

Curly hair

Last week, I had my hair done. And this time, I get myself some curly wave hair. Today, it is already the 6th day,me with my curly hair. It kinda take time in pampering my hair, which had overwent some chemical that for sure damage my hair badly. I bought myself some damage repair shampoo and it smell just nice. Since my hair is always applied with hair gel or mousse, I become very discipline in cleaning and conditioning my hair. I even mask my hair amost 2 times a week. I wonder how long will I maintain this kind of washing and pampering my hair. It already stole some of my time here and there from my other activities.

By the way,I did enjoy the process of perming my hair with my friend in the saloon. We just have some fun time together. Snapping some before and after pictures and share it online. Haha then let's everyone have a laugh about it. We both using digital perm, and we looked like alien under the wires.

Alien hair or alien head?

After three days soaking my hair in the chemical spray on my hair, finally i can wash my hair. And the first thing I did after bath was checking whether my curls are still there or not. Inexperience with the curls and the caring method, I comb my hair that look tangle together after bath. Then only I realised, the curls were gone and my hair became as straight as if I haven't done any perm before.

Panic attack!! I ran to seek help from my friends next door. They just looked cool and said everything will be fine and your hair will turn out curly after it dry. I just can't see where are the curls! I considered myself had a badhair day that day and my mood just can't be any better.

The next day, I washed away all the serum, mousse and hair gel that I applied on my hair in a massive amount! Ya, don't blame a girl that being panic and put everything on her hair that she can find in her closet . Then I just let my hair dry in its natural way and without putting on any serum or light cream. After a day of resting, my hair bounce back to the shape and curls that it suppost to be. I am very happy with my hair now.

Therefore, beauty only come with the girls or women who didn't give up for herself. So, girls out there, don't give up and keep trying..

My curly wave hair

Many Kites Are Flying~!!

Thank for dropping by my blog, is been awhile I didn’t update it. I had a sweet blast September! Cause, this year birthday was kinda special. Bintulu, not far from Miri Oil Town, had a kite festival. Me and my dear was looking forward that great big kite flying event. I was so lucky that the festival fall on my birthday week. I had a traveling birthday this year.

This was the second time I visit Bintulu, a small fishing village that grow into a coastal town. Who’s interested in buying cheap but fresh fish, Bintulu town is a great choice. Kite Festival last for 3 days, and I managed to stay 2 days in Bintulu to join the fest. It was fun to fly kite with so many people at the same time. The view of the sky that time was so manifestation with hundred of kites flying, I believe!

There were kites everywhere, big and small. They were all in difference shape and size. I even spotted a  huge spongebob kite,a roll of angry birds, snake, whale, I don’t wanna miss any chance to snap some pictures of the kites and also with the kites. Here's one! This hedgehog fish kite is really really big. It can eat me anytime if I go near. Haha! And it was too heavy to fly, so pity that the hedgehog fish had to be drag around the field.

And there a big teddy telling everyone that “I love Bintulu”, but the weather that time is not so windy, it can’t fly high.

After a day watching the other flying their kite, I bought myself a big kite!

 

I want to fly my kite high, and I made it! Here the proof, haha. The small dot with a long tail is my kite. Can you see it? Can you really see it? Is right there!

I never know that flying a kite can be so tiring. Maybe it was because of so many kites out there and I was worried about my kite going to bump into others kite. It was a challenging activity. I saw people running to untie their string with the other. Me myself also running to get away from being caught with others kite. Hahaha..but it was so fun.

The weather was windy and hot. I get myself a big straw hat. I picked white so it can match with any of my shirt. Girls! Always think about fashion and matching clothes. Peace out..(^.^)V

Just Another Number

Number? What number? Nah.. Just another number that tell your age.. It look like age doesn't matter me right? Haha,but yet, it remind me that I'm getting older and not younger. When we were a kid, we love birthday very much. No matter is our own birtday or our friend's birthday. We'll get cakes, some great sweet and candies and having great fun playing with friends after school. Presents are extra if that was own birthday. But when we get older, those things are not interesting anymore. Birthday is just another number and a friendly reminder.

My point of view, birthday represents 1 year had passed and I have to look back and see what did I achieved for the last whole year. Did I achieve what I wished for last birthday? Did i manage to become a better self? Hmm..only God know. Anyway, I just had my birthday on the pass Thursday. I celebrated my birthday by having a romantic candle light high tea with my dear in Secret Receipe. I love the cakes very much. I picked myself a slide of Chocolate Fudge! The chocolate is so sweet that I almost melt! Oh! Thinking of it make me mouth watering!  

This year birthday, I get the biggest birthday present that I ever had. I got a Sumsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 as my birthday present from my deary. Oh! I'm so happy. I've being looking at the Ipad2 and galaxy tab for long. At last, I get a tablet! What can I say other than thank you very much my deary deary..muak! Love you much!!:-)

 So, happy birthday for me!!
 I'm really happy!!

Hello Friday~!

Hello Friday! Hello everyone! Anyone cheering TGIF? *hand in the air* Cheer! Cheer!

Actually, this weekend I don’t have any date. Owh~ My dear is busy, so I have to entertain myself. Nowsday, I felt so lazy to crochet anything. I am out of ideas and motivation with patient. *Rolling among the yarn, blink blink!*

Suddenly I miss my cat. My cat – Mot Mot, already left me and rest in peace for 9 months. I don’t have any chance to say goodbye to him. I lost him at 7 January 2011, just after a few days I travelled back to Miri for work. On that day, I dreamt about I lost my cat in a crowd. When I woke up and realized it just a dream, I was so relieved until my mom called me and said, your cat didn't come home for weeks, you better get ready for it never come back anymore. Ouch! Why I got that kind of dream and then I become real? It is cat's nature to hide itself at somewhere else to die. Did that make a fact that Mot Mot come to my dream to say goodbye? So sad, I miss Mot Mot so much.

Hash! Back to today Friday~! Finally, Nuffnang has put up some new ad again. I just found out just now. The ad I saw was '1-day pilot session for RM450'. I was 'wo! pilot session?' never in my life I think about flying a plane. But, if there is a chance and money is not a problem, why not. *air sick* I can't fly a plane

Nothing to do today, so, playing with phone, bubblegum and Picasa.

Just Chill~

Raining season is coming again. This is what I most afraid of – flood. When flood, there is chances that my house will be flooded in the mud water. As my house is so near to the river, flood can be anytime when there is a continuous heavy downpour.

Until now, the water level of the river is still remaining low. But I keep everything ready. Just in case.

Here is some picture of the surrounding here. There suppose to be a river but the water level getting higher and cover up the bank. The fish get confuse and swim to the bank also. I can see small fishes just beside the cement trail. Haha,so cute.

 

 Can you see the fish? It is black in colour and with yellow strip on its head. it is just under the cement. It have the size of clown fish, and funnily its just look like Nemo lost its way up to the land up here.

 

Hurm, I wondered how is the plant and grass feel.

They look so miserable soaking in the water.

“I grow on land but I’m soaking wet in the water. Sob!. said the grass.

Still with it beautiful bright green colour, it stand still and wait for the water to decrease.

This is me with my loving cat, Kontot, sitting on the wooden corridor behind my house looking the muddy dead water. I just love him following me everywhere I go. d^.^b

After a few hours, the water level increase again. It has just cover up the road I sat just now. Kids will be happy to play with the water down there. d=.=b

Hopefully, the water will decrease the next day like it normally does.

This is what I found when after rain and flood.

A big size millipede!!

Are you sure it is in big size? It look just the same with the most millipede I saw.

So do you believe that? It just come out from no where and appear in front of my house.

So, what else to do? Taking pictures of course.Haha.

Lastly, I just let it go where ever it want.

Who to talk to??

For a very long time, I didn’t tell everything to mom, especially the things that can let my mom worry about me. Since I had been sent to work in Sarawak, everything seems to change. My life is totally different from what I aspect. Is the total opposite of everything I know. The life and the culture even the life style that never came into my mind before.

I come into a place with no relative and friends. I have to find for new friends. After 1 year, suddenly I realize that it is hardly find a real friend. With the place I have been sent to, friend is limited and no all truly sincere.

The only one I can talk to and share everything to is my mom. I shared my joy, my sorrow. But, I don’t want my mom to worry about me when I’m sorrow and sad.

Sadly, who can I talk to? Who can I trust?

People here are fully playing their roles as a housemate, a neighbour or a colleague. They didn’t intend to care more for you other than there are something that they can get from you. This is so call LIFE. Everyone think for their own self. It is human instinct to stay alive.

Where is my normal LiFe?

What should a normal life have?

A comfy house call home?

A good place for doing my job well?

A place where everything is easy to get?

I'm in the middle of oil palm estate.

Think!

Think positively!

Every night i got a roof and four wall to keep me safe away from the danger..

There is electricity supply from electric generator to keep light us up for 24hrs.

There is a river nearby that supply me water to bath and wash.

I drink really "sky juice" that fall on my roof then collected into a big tank.

I still can choose my favorite dress but i have to change my favorite colour into dark colour.

So many housemates to share a tiny little house..

Got income every month..the part that would not change for the rest of my life.

Can be close to my darling who call the other "dear" but he said "she is just a friend?sis?"

Can go home when there is a holiday with travel fee from RM500 to RM1000.

Whenever i wanna go home,there is some silly mistake on the flight ticket or get a delay notice when ready to depart.

I get many chances to fly as i get air sick everytime with the heart pumping landing.

Is Saturday again~

Is Saturday again,as usual, Friday is the last day working day in school.

Everyone get out from SK Rumah Mentali as it is a ghost school.

No one wanna stay inside with the reason, is a country side and is it bored..

I understand that.

But, i spending my time sitting inside my cozy little small house and ignore the boredom in this school.

Actually is a place that everyone can get some peace weekend..

With river beside the school,

we can go fishing if you want.

But i prefer knitting..

CNY is coming. I knit myself a new bag, it is red and black in colour.

I like it very much..

is a nice little bag. I plan to take it to visit everyone when CNY.

I like the pink rose either..

But still havnt complete as i run out of black tread.

Can see the bag handle is just half way.

I will finish it in this week also.

As CNY is very very near.

昨天，心血来潮跟人家去钓河鱼。

沿着小石头路到河边，

只能鸡婆看人家钓鱼。

还好那时太阳没有那么狠，

蛮阴凉的，五六点的太阳，要睡觉了

没有那么晒。

不然，人家就不让我鸡婆跟了。

常常都会说：

跟什么

啦？

人家去钓鱼，不是去shopping啦！

等下热了又吵吵闹闹。

想鸡婆看嘛！

看有没有鱼。

等了又等，没有鱼的。

After school, those kids a

Warden is in charge. But i hold the camera.Snapping a lot of their pictures inside and outside the water. They are wet, but enjoyed.

Cassidy walk by the office this evening asking Is whether wanna follow him to fish at the river bank. Out of the blue, i decided to follow. Each of them get a rod,meanwhile i bring along my camera phone.Snapping some scenery along the journey.So happy to get those great pictures.
