[MyOven] Butter Cupcake

Finally I get my hands on all those sugar, butter, cream and flour!! After making some time out from all the weekend activities, I made about 2 dozen of cupcake for my family. I feel so great. Everyday, I can take 2 cupcakes to school as my breakfast of the day.

I did buy a muffins recipe book, but I still Google for more other recipe. This weekend, I wanna try on just normal butter muffin. I got so many recipe online and I choose the one that use generous amount of butter.

It is just a very simple recipe that use only 6 ingredients,which are
• 200gm unsalted butter
• 3 eggs
• 1 cup of castor sugar
• 2 1/2 cups of self-raising floor
• 1/2 cup of milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder (extra ingredient for I want my cupcake to be more fluffy)
• some food colouring

Method:
1. First mix the butter and sugar in a bowl. Then beat it until the texture become light and fluffy.

2. Next, put in eggs, milk and vanilla extract. Beat it until even. Then slowly, stif in the flour. Stir the mixture carefully until its nice and creamy. You can put in any colour of your favour.

I use beetroot red as it taste a little bit like sweet corn and the colour is red. After mixing it, the mixture become pink in colour. So pretty!!

3. Preheat your oven in 170°C for few minutes. Meanwhile, line up the paper cups in the cupcake tray.

4. Spoon out the mixture and put into the paper cups evenly. Make sure you just fill 3/4 of the paper cup. Full paper cup of mixture will eventually overflow and spoilt the cupcake then.

I spoon 3 spoons of mixture for each of my cupcake.

5. Done all your filling, put into the oven and bake it for 15-20minutes under 170°C.

6. Remove the cupcakes from the oven and transfer them to a wire rack to cool.

I just love how they crack up the cupcake top. They look so appetizing and mouth watering. My dear hubby took some bites and he said they are delicious!!

Put your cupcake safe in air-tight container to keep it fresh. So happy that one of my thing to do in my list is achieved!

Note Book!!

I don't know why but I am a great fan of note books. I love all kind of note book, no matter it is big or small, thick or thin, plain or colourful. I just love it very much. Maybe this is a kind of weird collection maybe? #weirdcollection

I want to share some weird reasons of mine that answer some of your curiosity.

1. I like to write!
Writing is a way to express our feeling, same goes to writing a blog post. But, I like to write using a pen or pencil. When I write, I can feel the energy flowing from my fingers to my pen/pencil onto the paper. It reminds me of my childhood, my homework and my way to success into my path now.

2. I love the cover/wrapping paper of the note books.
This is the part that I can die with. The note books are all so attractive to me. Each note book has it own personality and it can represent all kind of different mood. I don't know how to explain to you guys so I Google some pictures of note book. And, this action almost make me go crazy. The note books are so cute, pretty, adorable, fun, cool, classic and so many more! For an example:

This floral cover is so lovely to be held by a lady.

This cartoon note book suitable for jotting down though and be happy always!

This cute kitty note book is fun to own one.

This pretty note book I would definitely use it to write down my cooking recipes in it.

This note book just make me feel so motherly and I will write down my baby journal in it.

See, I just can't resist to grab all the note books that I saw in the book store. My hubby will have to come and drag me away when I stay too long at the note book station.

3. I love my handwriting.

4. I like to jot down small little things in note book.

Anything can be write down in a notebook. Your thought, your ideas, your joys or your tears. Sometimes it can be a recipe or a pattern too. Note book will come in very handy in this situation.

Sometimes these fancy hard cover note books are just too expensive to own it all. So, I end up buying the 80pages exercise book and wrap it with fancy wrapping paper. The wrapping paper come in so many patterns and colours. Just choose your favourite wrapping paper and D.I.Y your own note book.

[Movie Review] Frozen

Hi, have you watch the cartoon movie - Frozen? Do you like it? Or you don't really like it? Well, this movie review of mine, just wanna share how I feel after I watch the movie.

First of all, is Walt Disney cartoon! I always love Disney cartoon. It pictures are always clear and the princesses are so cute and pretty. Those sisters in Frozen both lool so alike yet they are different. The art of drawing cartoon.

I love Elsa's look, she is really cool and pretty in her crystal snowflakes dress. And her magic is so awesome. Just one part, where did she get her magic from? I think I miss that part or it really didn't show in the movie.

Next, the character Anna, Elsa's sister love to sing so much. It make me feel like, "ok, I know I'm watching cartoon, but the singing part make me feel like I'm a kid." For me, they sing too much and make me feel a bit uncomfortable, just a bit. Google abit about the movie. Oh, this is an animated musical fantasy comedy. No wonder. Never mind, I did enjoy the movie very much. 

Another part that touch my heart is the act of true love. As always, we already mark or label that act of true love are kisses. In this movie, the act of true love is not involving man and woman, but sisters. The true love between sisters that they are willing to sacrifice their life for each other. I'm so touch when sister's true love cure Anna. It is a fine family happy ending.

My favourite part is Olaf!! The cute childhood snowman of Elsa and Anna that come alive under Elsa's magic. Olaf is just so innocent that he thought he can enjoy all the summer activities. He don't know how cruel summer did to snowman. Well,happy ending movie, Olaf survive summer and he can do whatever he likes in summer. Elsa makes a special personal snow cloud above him that keep him in shape.

Haha, look at that happy Olaf that he imagines himself playing the field.

Rainbow Zip Bag

Have you ever think of many many zips can make a bag? Ya, the zip that sew on your dresses and trousers. Thanks to creativity,somebody think of a new way of making a bag. They use as many zip as they can to make the bag they wish to have.

I first saw the bag was when I'm in my class teaching those kids Mathamatic. Then at the corner of my eye, I saw that unique pencil case of my pupil. I was so curious and I asked her if every zip functionable? The answer is yes! That is totally so cool. A pencil case that you can open with any zip you like. Front or back, left or right. But, I didn't manage to take picture.

In the same week, oraybe the next day, I saw another bag with the same design again. But this time just a part of it use the zips concept. Don't want to miss the chance again, I snapped some photo of it.
