White Rock Recipe

Hello people.
Not much to share about today, discover some nice cookies recipe while clearing my desk. Since I precious it that much, I think I better put it on internet. I can easily get it when I need and not need to worry that I lost it some where.

Well, it is just a simple cornflake cookies that I heart it so much. I ask my mom to get me the recipe from her good friend, Aunty 翠娟。

I managed to make the cookies without fail for several times. Somehow the recipe is an awesome discovery I got so far. I did post it out last time in my blog. There are some pictures of the cookies there.

White Rock Recipe
Ingredient:
Egg white - 240gm
Caster sugar - 300gm
Cream of tar tar -1/4tsp
Corn flake - 200gm
Chocolate chips - 300gm

Bake at 150°c for 25minutes.

Is it a surprise to find the recipe just so simple. Well, I guess I did tell your earlier. I just want to make sure I got everything right when I bake again next time.

Hiberating but Crocheting

Blogging is an activity that required a lot of commitment. I had been hibernating for such a long period that I almost forget how to start.

Hello all my readers from every corner that can reach to internet. Assalammualaikum as well.

Yes, I was hibernating but my crochet journey still going well. I crocheted a lot lately and mostly amigurumi. I love creating cute amigurumi. The process of making it and the great successful feeling of completing one. Most of my amigurumi patterns can be found online where the amigurumi artists generously share it to all of us. My favourite amigurumi is the mini octopus from Mohu. If you love to crochet too, you should definitely check out Mohu blog. Lauren from Mohu can make cutest little animal amigurumi. She also draw adorable watercolour. Her blog is so simple and clean. It load super fast and there are clear button written free pattern. Well, check her out later.

My First DIY Air Dry Clay

Assalammualaikum and hello readers!

In my previous post I talked about me eyeing on Polymer Clay and going to make some cute stuff out of it, right? I even put some DIY air dry clay recipes that I googled on internet there. School holidays are finally here and I got my chance to get my hands dirty. Surprise me, my hands are not dirty at all. Hooray to Air Dry Clay!

I tried a few times at making my homemade air dry clay. I failed several time with my clay too dry and clamp up together. Then I tried again with different measurement, and it doesn't came out like what it should be like people showed in youtube. I just ignored it and tried on my very first clay item.

Failure 1

First object came out pretty well but the surface dry out so fast and it left a thin layer of starch on it. That is so not pretty. Let me show you here.

See that? Well, maybe my picture was edited and it did not show what I mean. The others clay items are so smooth looking and shinny too. What happen to you, my lovely homemade clay flower?? You don't like to be homemade issit??

Failure 2

OMG! Look at the picture. I can't speak a word when I saw that.

I was really impatient and I show my half dry star to my husband. He took it and had a pinch.
Then my Baby Qaseh said, ' Oh O'.

After this two incidents, I sat down and think about what happen to the clay. Recalling the Youtube video, their air dry clay are smooth and when you pull it, it look like pulling a soft sticky marshmallow. Maybe there are some mistakes I made when I made the clay. Why aren't my clay sticky? It is incorrect.

Looking back the ingredients, it is like what the people out there given. My main issue here is why my clay not sticky when I pulled it apart from the whole. So,maybe is the glue problem.

I decided to change the glue I use in making the second batch.

First batch I was using this PVA glue.



In the second batch, I changed to the normal transparent glue.

Finally, the second batch look much better. It was sticky when I pulled it apart. Immediatly, I started making something out of it.

I made a cute little star,with the pink eyes from the first batch clay.

Then, a fluffy Baymax with pink heart from the first batch clay.

Hope is not too bad for the first timer.

New blogskin and I love it.

Hello and assalammualaikum to all my silent readers out there. (Do I have any reader I really didn't know that, I hope I got.)

This is my first post for this year and I get myself a new blogskin. I wish to change my blogskin since last year. You can read it here.Yet, until now only I get a new look for my blog.

What I love from my new blog look,
1. Is not that pinky anymore!! I had been pink for 2 and a half year already. No more pink for me. Although pink is not that bad actually. You can check out my previous pinkalicious blog from the link above. There is a screenshot of my old blog. This time I edit my blog without screenshot any picture.

2. My new blogskin load a lot faster than last time. This is a good news for all reader who stop by my blog. Waiting a blog to load is every annoying.

3. I really do love the simplicity of the blog design and layout. The font is comfortable to read, the colour is light and soft. And now I only realise, it did got a little bit of pinkish. Hahaha.. Well, that is okay enough for me.

4. The blogskin got it own bubbles other than the bubbles from my cursor. It blast out from time to time like a surprise bubbles. That's kinda interesting for me.

Last year just managed to update 5 posts. A big no no for a blogger. Am I consider quitting? Hope not so. Maybe this new skin will motivates me to keep blogging.

Well, I guess is not too late for me to say Happy New Year 2016!!!

DSV Tahun2 : Cetakan - menghasilkan pembalut hadiah dengan teknik cetakan

Assalammualaikum dan selamat sejahtera kepada semua pembaca senyap yang mengunjungi laman ini. Selasa adalah hari yang mempunyai waktu seni dalam jadual waktu saya, maka hasil murid-murid kali ini telah mencapai objektif mendorong saya untuk ambil gambar dan kongsi dengan semua.

Tajuk yang saya dedahkan kepada murid-murid saya pada kali ini ialah: Hasilkan satu pembalut hadiah dengan menggunakan teknik cetakan.

Kalau mengikut RPT, bahan untuk cetakan termasuklah bongkah kayu, tali parcel dan gam uhu. Bagi Hana, budak tahun 2 yang umurnya 8 tahun, mana nak cari bongkah kayu. Kalau disuruh beli, bukan tentu dapat cari bongkah kayu di mana-mana kedai. Maka, Hana cuba menjadi lebih kreatif dan inovasi dimana bongkah kayu diganti dengan kotak air minuman. Tali parcel digantikan dengan benang kait yang senang didapati dari kedai benang ataupun kedai kraftangan. Uhu tidak diperlukan sama sekali sebab benang kait boleh diikat dengan ketat.

Mari kita mulakan PdP kita.

Bahan yang diperlukan: Kotak air minuman, benang kait, cat air, berus cat, dan kertas lukisan.

Langkah:
     1. Bersihkan kotak air minuman terlebih dahulu sebelum digunakan.
     2. Lilitkan tali benang pada kotak air minuman.
     3. Sediakan cat air dan kertas lukisan.
     4. Gunakan berus cat, warnakan hanya satu permukaan benang yang dililit pada kotak aminuman.

         (tiga permukaan untuk pegang)

     5. Cetakan corak lilitan benang yang telah diwarnakan dengan cat air ke atas kertas lukisan.

     6. Ulangi langkah 4 dan 5 untuk menghasilkan corak cetakan yang berulang.
     7. Galakkan murid mencetak corak tersebut dengan terancang.
     8. Murid boleh menggunakan warna yang berlain untuk menghasilkan karya yang lebih menarik.

Di bawah adalah hasil kerja yang dihasilkan oleh murid saya yang kreatif dan cantik.

My Reflection On Native Speaker Program

Assalammualaikum and good evening to all my readers. Hereby I write my reflection on Native Speaker Program that I had followed for 6 months.

I received a lot of guidance and information from my mentor (Nick Sutherland) in this program. The most effective method that helps me a lot in my teaching experience is the Classroom Behaviour Management. I make a routine for the class and the pupils enjoy it. The Full Attention Cue is working in my class control. But, I have to in force my 'hands up' rule in the class because the pupils love to call out to me. So far, I'm quite satisfies with my classroom management skill, but there still some room for improvement.

In teaching and learning section, I get many new ideas to improve my lesson going. I started to prepare some extra activities for the 'Fast Finisher'. Some of the activities I prepared are lesson related, enhance reading and writing skill and also sight words for strengthen their vocabulary. Fast finisher activity encourage pupils to complete their task in time with their full attention as poor handwriting or incorrect spellings will be sending them back to their place for corrections.

Overall, I am very thankful that I am involve in this program as it did helps me a lot in my teaching skills.

Well, there are material ready out there too, ready to be own. Of course we will need to have tools and oven ready too, as polymer clay required baking process to be firm and hard. Another option beside using baked required polymer clay, we can try on air dry clay. As what it state, air dry, no bake require.

Google about air dry clay, suprise me, I found a recipe of homemade air dry clay!! Yeah! Why not try to use some homemade air dry clay before heading for professional air dry clay or polymer clay.

Homemade Air Dry Clay (Hana improvice version)
Ingredients:
2 cups of Cornstarch
1 cup white school glue
Baby oil few drops
food colouring (optional)

Steps:

1. First, put the cornstarch in the bowl.
2. Next, add some baby oil into the bowl.
3. Then, add the glue slowly into the bowl and the start mixing it all together.
4. If you want to make clay in several colours, separate your clay into parts. Add in food colouring to colour each part separately.
5. Finall,  knead the dough repeatly until it is soft and sticky.

Shared by Mudworks, by MaryAnn F. Kohl, who calls it Play Clay.

Ingredients:
1 cup baking soda
1/2 cup cornstarch
2/3 cup water

Steps:

1. First, mix the baking soda andcornstarch in a saucepan.
2. Next, add water and stir until smooth.
3. Over medium heat, boil and stir until it is the consistency of mashed potatoes.
4. Put on a board to cool some, knead it until it is ready.
5. Store leftover clay in an airtight container and it will keep for several weeks.
6. Modelled figures will air dry very quickly and are pure white in colour.

Mini Dating Lunch di Georgetown

Assalammualaikum and hello to all readers.

Hari nie nak blog pasal my life pulak. dah lama dah tak tulis yang sweet2. Sejak dah mengandung dan melahirkan Baby Qaseh, Hana dengan husben jarang sangat dapat dating. Dalam setahun ada 2 atau 3 kali kot. Itu pun hati tak sedap nak tinggalkan Baby Qaseh dengan nenek dia lama sangat. Sebab kat rumah hanya ada nenek seorang. Seorang memang susah nak jaga baby. Nak gi tandas kena tunggu baby tidur. Nak mandi pun kena pasang telinga, manatau baby dah bangun tidur. So, sekali dua keluar dating dengan husben dua orang memang jarang dan kadang-kadang niat tu terbatal saje. Tapi kali nie lain dah..

Baby Qaseh dah pergi Nursery!! Mami Qaseh memang tak sudi hantar Baby Qaseh ke Nursery, tapi apa boleh buat, dah takde orang boleh jaga Baby Qaseh. Takkan nak Mami Qaseh henti kerja kan? So, sudi tak sudi, pergi juga! Baby Qaseh dah cukup besar untuk bergaul dengan kawan-kawan yang lain.

Nie dia yang tengah sibuk naik rocking horse.

Hari nie keluar sampai Georgetown sebab tadi terima satu panggilan dari Sektor Penilaian dan Peperiksaan, diminta untuk pergi menuntut cheque. Bukan apa tiba-tiba dapat cheque, nie sebab hari tu dah susah-susah menjaga UPSR. Dah la tiga subjek berulang.

Sektor Penilaian dan Peperiksaan Pulau Pinang ada di Bangunan Tuanku Syed Putra tingkat 3. Mana lokasi? Dekat dengan Pos Office jeti Pulau Pinang.

Hah! Sekejab saje ambil cheque,tapi perjalanan ke pusat bandar yang penuh dengan kenderaan dan susah payah nak cari parking. Jenuh! Tapi takpe, alhamdulilah rezeki diberi jangan ditolak.

Lepas dapat cheque apa lagi? Jalan-jalan cari makan la. Hah.. nie yang pertama menarik perhatian dan minat Hana. Beca yang jual air kelapa dan sea coconut.

Bukan selalu boleh nampak sea coconut nie. Ambil gambar cantik-cantik. Hah!

Selalunya order air kelapa saje. Nampak kelapa kan lebih besar daripada sea coconut, lagipun sea coconut pun lebih mahal banding dengan kelapa biasa. Husben order air kelapa macam biasa. Saya pula masih ragu-ragu nak air kelapa ke air sea coconut. Tak pernah minum yang fresh from the fruit. Nak try la,tapi mahal nie. Sebiji yang kecik nie dah RM4.50. Kelapa yang besar tu baru RM3.50.

Takpe la Hana nak try juga kali nie. Selalu kena halang dengan alasan mahal la, tak sedap la, tak baloi la. Sendiri tak try mana tau kan? Ah Neh, sea coconut satu.

Ah Neh tu pun ambil la sebiji. Phek! phek! phek! Ah Neh buang kulit sea coconut tu sekelip mata aje. Camera belum sempat nak snap dah nak siap dah. Aik? Mana air dia?? Sea coconut takde air di dalam la. Dia ada isi buah dia saje la. Ah Neh tu tak sebut apa-apa aje, bungkus dalam plastik dan hulur kat saya yang mata membulat kat situ. Ok.. Nie first time tau, sea coconut asli dalamnya takde air, hanya ada isi buah.

Tu la, kalau tak try mana la tau kan. Sekarang kan dah menambah ilmu pengetahuan. Korang pun baru tau ke? Ke Hana nie je yang tak tau nie?? Sob sob..

Sea coconut nie nak sambil jalan sambil makan memang susah. Kena kopek kulit dia baru dapat makan isi. Rupa-rupanya isi sea coconut yang selalunya kita makan dalam tin makanan tu dah dicampur dan direndam di dalam air gula. Sea coconut fruit mana ada air.

So, kami pun cari la kedai makan yang dekat-dekat untuk isi perut. Baby dinasour dalam perut dah mula menari-nari dah. Kena bagi makan dulu ha.. Waktu duduk tunggu makanan sampai nie la Hana dapat kopek kulit sea coconut nie dengan tenang.

Ha. Nie snap daripada handphone husben Hana ( Zenphone 5 front camera).

Yeah,order Hana sampai dulu. Oldtown Egg Noodle! Suka sangat makan noodle, hari tu sampai buat sendiri kat rumah. Nak buat entri pasal homemade egg noodle tapi takde tangan tolong snap gambar, entri pun tak jadi. Lain kali nak suruh En. Husben ambik gambar the making proses la.

Nak pose cantik-cantik dengan Egg Noodle Hana nie.. Sedap!

Sorry ya En Husben, Hana makan dulu. Lapar dah nie. Air Lemon Ice Tea pun belum sampai lagi.

Lama tak lama jugak la nak tunggu, En Husben punya Nasi Claypot pun sampai. Tunggu apa lagi? Makan la! Eh..wait..jab Hana ambil gambar. Nasib baik pakai camera handphone aje, kalau pakai DSLR, tak makan la husben oi.

Eh, tak habis ambik gambar lagi nie.. Haha, takde la. Nie saje nak candidi En. Husben makan.

Dua orang makan set lunch kat OldTown dengan dua Ice Lemon Tea, harga RM27.30. Hana rasa harga takla mahal, dah biasa dah. Alhamdulillah, kenyang! Burp!

Patah balik pergi ambik kereta pastu heading home. Hmm..kira bayaran untuk Pegawas UPSR dah masuk dalam perut. Haha. Ok la tu, rezeki makan. 

Habis cerita...mini dating la nie,hehe..

Bagi Hana, clean master nie best la. Apps nie tolong bersihkan junk file, tolong cool down handphone, boost games, boost CPU, boost device memory. Clean master nie pun tolong jimatkan bateri sekali. Hana memang suka pakai nie selalu. Kira puas hati sungguh dengan function dan service dia.

4.Chrome Browser

Chrome browser adalah browser flavour Hana. Sekarang tulis post nie pun tengah pakai Chrome browser. Browser nie kira sangat phone friendly. Boleh buka tab banyak2 macam kat pc. Boleh save page dekat mobile kemudian link dengan Google Chrome kat pc. Tak sempat nak habis bca kat pc boleh simpan sambung kat phone. Janji ada Google account. Tapi kalau dah Android user, takkan la takde Google acount kan?

Hana suka pakai apps nie untuk edit gambar kemudian upload kat Instagram. Dia boleh buat square picture pakai collage walaupun hanya sekeping. Hana suka pakai stamp, bingkai dan text dia. Comel2 font yang dia bagi. Yang watermark Adore The Sunshine tu pun buat pakai LINE camera.

Shopping Selendang and Shawl Online for 2015 New Year!!

Assalammualaikum and hello to all readers, how is your days? Raining season hit Penang recently and it keep raining cats and dogs. When it rain, it pour! So many things that need to do outdoor all have to be postpone or even cancel, and this including SHOPPING! What? Raining didn't stop you from shopping you said? I went pasar malam of course! There are so many cheap tudung can be found there. But recently I found that I don't really want to shop at pasar malam anymore.

Why? Well, let's see..This is some of my selfies with my hijabs bought from pasar malam..

I didn't say it is not nice. I wore it for several times when it is new and fresh. After a few wash I notice there are some pin holes on my tudung and the colour faded. I was so sad and not really dare to wear it out again.

Next, I bought it from boutique of course. The quality of the hijabs I bought here are far much better than pasar malam of course. Nowsday hijabs boutiques booming like mushroom after rain. They are everywhere and we don't have all the time to visit and shop.

Another exciting trend nowsday is, buying your goods online and they deliver it straight toward your doorstep! And of course this is another way I buy my tudung, selendang and shawls too. I always love the excitement of opening the parcels when they reach my hands. How about the quality of the hijabs I bought online? Okey, let's the picture say the words.

What do you think? No bad right? Although the price is much more higher compare with goods sold in pasar malam. Some how it worth my money.

Barang yang paling saya sayang. Erm, perfume White Musk EAU DE TOILETTE dari The Body Shop!! Suka bau dia dari dulu lagi. First perfume yang saya beli sendiri dengan duit gaji sendiri. Pastu dah habis beli lagi. Dah tukar design pun masih royal dengan white musk. Dulu bottle dia tak de warna purple jernih macam tu. Sekarang siap boleh pasing matching dengan baju yang Hana pakai. Nak tengok gambar je yer. Ok, nie dia.. ten ten ten ten..
